KEPT MY PROMISE AND DID 4 MORE ROWS...

Going to apply flowers to this when its finished and l still have the 1st one or should l say half of the 1st one hehehe..... l didn't like an orange row l'd put in so cut that row out and now have two ripples!!!

My Chunky Ripple Pattern
My own ripple pattern is all worked one way so there are two sides to the blanket and
a single row per colour
With an increase and decrease of 3 dc and 4 single dc in between with 5 single dc to start and  6single dc to finish with the last two stitched together like a decrease to keep the edge square
I've used 2 strands of  DK and a 6.5mm hook
it's being made to fit a 6'wide bed and  l think l need to do bout 120 rows
19rows done so far and 15 on the other half
and there are 17 complete ripples of 14 sts

THE OTHER HALF.....2ND RIPPLE
Hoping to lean this one more to the stronger bright colours and away from the pastels
added 5rows to this one two...oooh progress at last!
Thanks for the great comments on the Random Spike Stitch patches..click link to see pics
and the flowers...info to follow

SIMPLE DAISY TYPE FLOWERS ON THE STRIPES
I'll add some instructions with pictures for the flower on the stripes sometime this week for those that want it
worked from both sides and into the back of the stitch for the white rows simple but with a twist

Need to get myself organised this week once the walls are painted so many flowers and experiments l just can't find right now!!!...so many storage boxes with nothing written on the labels!
SUN SHINING HERE.....thought they said it was going to rain?
Hugs all xx

  1. You've done it again!!!!! Fantastic colours. I just drool over all your creations! (probably just as well I don't see them in the flesh or they'd all need a wash!)
