The Daisy Granny Grew.....

Made 30 squares to start with, played around with colour combinations, l wasn't happy but eventually decided on colour groups of 4 squares in different shades of similar colours

Just couldn't quite finish all 9 of the 4 square blocks by bedtime last night but all 9 blocks are finished now
Played with colour combinations until l decided on the 4square blocks in roughly shades of one colour
found a couple of tiny balls of yarn to add a few more squares
Trying to make it about 4' square

Almost but not quite......8 of the 9 blocks finished last night one this morning...today the joining round
First l need to decide on more cream or a colour to join them together?
Pop back tomorrow and see what l pick

Might need to spend another day doing a border to achieve the size l want

RAIN here...and very WELCOME it is too
Hope it pours ALL DAY...never thought l'd say that in the UK!

Have fun Everyone
Hugs to all x

  1. Wow, you work so fast! I love the colours you've used. I think more cream for joining the squares. xx

  2. I would join them together in cream, it's going to be a lovely (baby) blanket Suz.
