LOCAL BOOK SHOP STOCKING MY NEW BOOK...

Yesterday I was contacted by Rachel who owns an Independent Book shop in Bishops Castle...she loves the book, will be stocking it and runs a vintage craft market too.

Rachel ( Art and Artisans Books) asked if I would be interested in a workshop/book signing date?
Quite exciting isn't it?

I've not done a workshop/lecture etc. for a few year now, should be fun.

Their next Market is on the 6th April, so I will pop over to take a peek and meet Rachel and her gallery owning friend Jacs who run the craft fairs.

Jacs Collins & Rachel Hawes
Crafty Vintage is the brainchild and joint enterprise of Shropshire business women Jacs Collins, owner of the GALLERY and Rachel Hawes, owner of Art & Artisan Books, who share a passion for all things crafty, vintage and handmade.

I have been sent 6 more copies of my book 2 have gone already and one will be winging it's way to Sandra as soon as she sends me her address.

Remember A GOOD FEW MONTHS AGO....I asked for help with book questions?
Well Sandra was plucked from the hat and won the prize.

Congratulations Sandra hope you enjoy it.
Hope you had a good time in the UK with your family?

Happy Hooking everyone
Friends over today so the hook is put away for a few hours, I need to move the dust around and make the place look tidier...you guessed it wool ALL OVER THE PLACE working on a few design/patterns for sale...ooops

  1. Great to see ya around. I know I've been bad at popping by, but you know I've had good reason. Congrats on the new book. I will be keeping my eyes peeled for this one in the US markets. As always you are up to some great fun over here. I will be making an effort to be better in blogland, but you know my new "lifestyle" has to come first. I do feel so much better and more healthy now.

  2. Sue, I am so excited for you. I am going to check out Amazon and pre-order from here if I can. Is the release date the same in the US? It must be such an amazing feeling to see your work published.

  3. Sue, I'm so proud of you! I will order one of your books from Amazon. That craft market sound divine, I so wish I could see it in person! I'm finishing my handmade bunny today.. sewing up the boots and knitting a tiny capelet. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  4. Just popped by to say that to my delight my pre-ordered copy of your book arrived yesterday and it's gone straight to the top of my favourites! What I particularly love is that the projects all have a use as well as being decorative. You also write in such a way as to inspire creative variations on a theme. Not all craft books do this by a long chalk. Some are lovely but aren't door-openers if you know what I mean. Your "Granny Squares" is a door-opener! Have started on a pile of hexagons for a bath mat already and done a teensy weensy bit of extra yarn purchasing to provide ammo for making those lovely pillows! Thank you for such wonderful inspiration! E x
