It's heavy, a lot of yarn in this old seat cover made in moss stitch, we no long have the chair so I'm recycling the yarn for another project..its taking quite an effort!..worth it, I think it is i love this James C Brett Marble yarn.
un-picked, rolled into a ball, made into hanks, washed, conditioned and drying...
then i can get on with this new flower project, a long shawl/ wrap of flowers...
Waste not want not!
It is a gorgeous yarn! Look forward to seeing what you make with it 😊
ReplyDeleteHi Elly, the flowers, going to be a long wrap i think xxx
DeleteIt's a beautiful colorway. I recycle yarn that I love......but it's got to be love, not just like because it's a job to unravel anything bigger than a scarf, lol!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, yes not all yarn unpick well and are usable a second time around, but this James C Brett Marble is, its washed well and first ball is ready to go xx
DeleteHi Sue,
ReplyDeleteIt is certainly worth the effort. I got that very same yarn and can understand why you love it! The new project looks fab!!
