Set to one side or keep safe on a ring. We will be making all of the 9 blocks first before we lay them out and join then together.
This hex blanket was the inspiration for this mini cal
And this joining stitch from 2012 was the inspiration for the join
PART 2: Purples
Gather together all you scrap shades of purple in your chosen weight of yarn.
5mm hook for Aran
4mm hook for dk [slightly smaller wrap or blanket]
The redder the shades are, place them next inline to the red/ornange ones as the below picture shows
Todays PART 2 is to make 9 x 3round circles in 6-9 shades of purple using the above pattern
and i bet you can guess what colour will be next in line? lol
JOINING CIRCLES TOGETHER
I am going to give you 3 colours and then the joining pattern because after 3 colours you will need to decide on a wrap or blanket....
Wrap: a long row of 6 blocks [9 motifs in each colour] over 6' long
or
Blanket: 3 rows of 3 colours side by side
so one more colour to come and you will be going them together
PART 3: Using the same circle pattern make 9 circles in shades of green
Found it on the right... was looking at the top of the part 2 page.
