DAISY INSPIRED

First time l did granny squares was probably 40yrs ago but couldn't resist a granny square playtime last night using the cluster stitch so it looks like a flower in a square
Love the mathematical side to crochet squares and circles...made the 1st one with 11 dc and clusters of 3DC to make 11 'petals'....bit sunflower looking but that gave too many petals to divide up the sides equally...wanted a square not a circle....so l needed one more to make 12 or less making 8 opted for 8
Don't you find these repeated squares therapeutic and satisfying ?

THE SUN SAID HELLO TODAY

Rearranged pots moved plants from the his and hers place in readiness while Pmacs cut the decking up......
Why do things always get worse before they get better?

EVER STRUGGLED TO DO BULLION STITCH?

BULLION STITCH or MOCK BULLION STITCH

WOW!...ONE BRILLIANT VIDEO
Someone has invented a little plastic addition to a crochet hook to enable bullion stitch to be done really easily....A eureka moment l think

WONDER HOW TO DO BULLION STITCH?

HOW TO DO MOCK BULLION OR ROLL STITCH

Great alternative to the bullion stitch is the mock bullion or roll stitch take a look and get creative.

'Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her. So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit.'
made me giggle a bit

Love this bag too...can think of lots of uses...next time maybe!

STARTED TO CLEAR THE HIS AND HERS SPACE

While the sun shone and the rain held off we got outside and started to clear the his and hers shed area...have to say its more than enough to take 2, 10x10foot sheds
The width at the bottom is almost 29feet so one each side and one of the 6x8foot sheds we already have in the middle with just a few inches between but they will fit..promise hehe......but it doesn't look big enough from the photos...note to self must buy a wide angle lens hehehe and a camera to go with it!!!
Any one want a green house...it's got to go and we just aren't using it anyway

MADE A WORK SPACE IN CONSERVATORY......

......FOR NOW
If l'm tidy l suppose this would do me instead of a shed and Phil can have the big shed in the garden along with the 2 smaller sheds he already has now!!

started the pink crocheted felt bag last night but been moving furniture around all day so didn't get it finished and now l've run out of wash-filz-it yarn well almost one ball left and as its only a ball every 1.5inches l definately need more about another 6 l would say to do the handles aswell
was doing a bit in bed before l got up this morning and Brupbrup climbed inside so couldn't do any more so started the stripy one too...the bin picture...so will probably finish that before the pink one as l have that yarn

Househunt over.....

Not blogged for a week or more been house hunting but its come to an end l think

Decided to get the drive and garage we want was going to cost far too much so going to manage with the car parking space...as yet no one is complaining about the 2 cars and one Noo Noo and anyway thinking l'll sell my MX5 and a couple of big sheds at the bottom of the garden to give us both a work space to play with
12x12 for Phil and a smaller one for me

Enjoyed the house looking....win the lottery and we can move or move to my Mum and Dads house if the tenant moves out any time....till then shed city it's going to be
