NOT SO SURE ABOUT THE PINK NOW!!

Good trip to Shrewsbury lots going on to do with the street entertainment...park and ride cut a bit but made less traffic in town always a good thing

Got the pink fabric l thought l wanted but got home and not so sure it went with the light jacket l wanted it to go with...ooops!!..... will make a nice dress though

But the fabric l used to try out the pattern now that l love...vintage with a flock paisley flower design in black on a pale blue/grey back ground and l have a lime green jacket that looks lovely with it so have one choice at least and maybe pink was a bit summery for Catterick in mid September

Trip to Shrewsbury again today see if l can get the fabric l want...see what's about and a trip to the library as well love Shrewsbury Library beautiful building opposite the Castle....will take my camera today keep forgetting and Shrewsbury is such a beautiful Black and white county town

FRIDAY IS HOUSEWORK DAY..YUK!!

Want a white or pale pink sun dress for my sons Parade....knew l would never find the one l want in the shops so decided l'd make it...not made a dress for me or anyone for a very long time ( was my career.....weddings special occassion outfits hats childrens clothes for many years)

Well l haven't lost it made a perfect fit bodice in one fitting and on yourself thats not easy to do hehe....all l need now is the fabric!!!!!

So l did managed a few moments in the shed....love my shed....ironing done as it dried 'cos the ironing board is set up in there and all the mess from dressmaking is in the shed and the house clean and tidy..brill

PACK OF PEGS AND A BIT OF OLD WOOD.....working so far!

Making peg hooks for the hanging fairies l made over 12 months ago....need to sand and paint yet but looking ok so far.....found the small pegs at Bridgemere yesterday 99p for 7 two packets so ran out before l'd finished 2 now l know they work will go back tomorrow check out the fabrics again aswell now l have a pattern that fits!!!...

So cleaning day turned out OK!

CHANDERLIER FOR 'HERS'..SHOPPING AT DAGFIELDS

We had our Bank holiday today......trip to Bridgemere Lunch at a wonderful Pub and a trip to the Antique center at Dagfields near Nantwich today with Alison and Dave

found this Chandelier for 'Hers' complete with antique dust lol

think l'm going to paint it antique white along with everything else in the shed and a bit of distressing to boot

also found one unit all creams and whites and painted furniture with a very French Vintage Look...Dagfields is lots of small antiques craft and collectible units lots to look at and lots to buy

Just couldn't resist these 6 cups and saucers they looked so pretty on an antique white shelf

just how l want them to look in the house when the new look is complete

ELECTRICITY PHONE AND 3 INTERNAL WALLS COMPLETE!!

Making some cardboard flowers to go around the mirror to make a decorative frame using buttons cardboard and broken jewellery

Back wall and the side wall complete with file shelf almost finished.....not a lot left to insulate and board only the front wall and the ceiling then l can paint it all white!!

decorate the mirror and move all the stash in!!

The extention phone works in the shed so all mod cons hehehe..just on the look out for a pot belly stove for the winter...keep me snug and warm

Huge wardrobe mirrors were in need of a new home (from friends who had new wardrobes ) l've had one for 'Hers' and the other we will add to the wall in the hallway....

WOW!! it's doubled the size of the shed.....hehehe
