SHED UPDATE

As we had run out of insulation decide yesterday to split the black TV unit and do the painting..Phil's not keen on painting and wanted to keep going on my shed and found a roll spare in the attic we had forgotten about so he was happy to leave me painting and off he went to do another wall in the shed and half the roof and put up the chandelier as a suprise

Love it...thanks Pmacs

window wall and half the roof now tongue and groove
Front door window wall is all thats left to insulate and board then l can move in with the paint brush...took me 2 hours to paint the 2 new cosole like tables made from the large black unit yesterday....then l had lunch watched Loose Women and started again still to do the final satinwood coat.....then popped out to see the chandelier in full blaze hehe

love it love it love it...big thank you Pmacs we both had fun yesterday lol
Not much left to do now?

NOT QUITE...BUT ALMOST!!

White table back in the conservatory for the TV...looks a lot better and more room well will be when all the piles of books every where are in the shed or study
Large black TV unit was always a bit of a problem so we cut it in to two console tables one for the shed and one for the dining room.....2 coats of primer but going to leave to harden off for 24hours before l paint with satinwood
in it's possition waiting for the satinwood finish and a wooden top...didn't get to the dining room table a job for tomorrow

But Phill didn't want to paint so he went out and finished another wall in my shed by stealing the insulation from the attic untill the new stuff arrives and he put up
my chandelier as a suprise
and hung his plaque in the conservatory....but we didn't get to re-hang the collage in the spare bedroom.......tomorrow's another day hehehe!!

So all in all a very good day with lots done

OFF TO CUT UP THE FURNITURE TODAY!!

Now the 'craft furniture' is almost totally out of the house and we can't get any more of the wool silk insulation for 'hers' at a bit of a shed break here so going to start the re-modelling of the house furniture today.....

1 Cutting a large black TV unit in half to make a white painted, wood topped console table for the dinning room ( replacement of the cube unit) and the remaining half will go to 'hers' as another work surface again painted white

2 Then l want to paint the legs of the dining room table to match and the dining room chairs white aswell

3 Move the original TV units l bought back into the conservatory

4 Re-hang the collage painting in the spare bedroom leaving a space for a new painting in our room

5 Lastly hang the large plaque Pmacs bought a couple of weeks back
Always writting list but never get ALL done lets see how much of this list gets completed!!

A POEM DON'T QUIT YOU JUST NEVER KNOW!

When things go wrong as they sometimes will, When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must, but don’t you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns about, When he might have won had he stuck it out. Don’t give up though the pace seems slow—You may succeed with another blow, Success is failure turned inside out—The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far; So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit—It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.
