WELL I DID SOME SORTING....

Unfortunately it wasn't the planned and important sorting but this was much more fun...just need to finish adding the numbers and print and cut.....

The hard bit was deciding which photographs to use out of the couple of thousand l've taken over the last year!!

Already 12.30 gone and l'm still in bed playing and Phil just remembered its over 20 years today since his Mum died today so we are going to see if the grave is ok and add some flowers

OOOH IT'S A GREY DAY AND I FEEL SOOOOO HAPPY

Please please please warm up....the sun is gloriously bright this morning but it's still cold crisp and frosty here at the moment and the roads are like ice rinks buuuuuuuuuuut.............

I've just discovered the Colinette mill shop is only the other side of Shrewsbury and about 49miles from me!!....ooooh l just can't wait to take a trip to see this fabulous mill.....l need more pale grey and definitely more Colinette yarns in my life

A day of sorting today..well that's the top of the TO-DO list.....but l'll just have a little play with the only grey yarn l have at the moment 1st...hehehe now how much sorting do you think l will get done today!!!......odds aren't good me thinks!!

Checker pattern

made with mixed Merino yarns and a 10 mm hook...could see the beginnings of an idea when l added the small balls left from the 'Partridge in a Pear Tree' and Christmas jewellery

checker pattern from one of the books l bought....all of them have some fabulous ideas stitches or tips in them...some stuff l'll never use some l'll try out and some l will probably work to death because l love the pattern hehe

INTERESTING YARNS FROM IPPIKIN

A few months back l went to a wonderful little shop in Much Wenlock called IPPIKIN a real treasure house of ideas and yarns and the owner is so helpful

l did have a little play with the fabulous yarns l purchased but wasn't happy with what l did so l put them to one side for a rainy day!!

Must have poured yesterday!! lol.....l was inspired

Sorry l can't really share much of what l did with you yet but l'm hoping there will be lots of interesting experimental stuff and unusual yarn combos to come!!

l love January don't you?

l always seem to be flooded with lots of new ideas!! hehe
