VIKING LUCET CORDS
Doing some Medieval research this morning I cam across a Lucet tool...further research it all became clear, Lucet cords were the product of this tool and you can make a crochet version too.
Just had to have a go with what was to hand....a simple and easy to make crochet cord if you don't have a Lucet tool.
Lots of uses were suggested for this sightly stretchy cord...fine for shoe laces, up to thicker cords for bag handles...sounds like an interesting project for the future

Lovely Day at The Crafty Ewes Cabin...
We stopped at The Crown at Paull...just small, but perfectly formed lol thanks for a fab stay and a great view from out window, a few steps and we could be in the sea, well the estuary and what a busy place it is too...

The Craft Room Shrewsbury...Fabulous new shop opening 13th June 2016
If you follow me on Facebook you will have seen my posts about the new store opening on 13th June
All the details can be found HERE....this post is to give you a feel of what the space is going to be like
There will be: Knitting, Crochet, Patchwork and Paper crafting classes..i I've just 3 minutes away so if anyone wants a chat and you are visiting shout and we can make arrangements to meet...just love all this space. The Team are working hard to fill the shelves for you all
