Giant Flower Pattern...new take

Start with the giant flower but add rows of dc and sc, or another favourite stitch, maybe 'v' stitch or bobble stitch even to make a giant flower don't forget to increase every other row so it grows and lies flat

Keep going until it is the size you want or make several and join them together...

CoronaCal second Star join for Eye Motif's

Morning Hookers...there are some stunning #CoronaCal eye, blankets being completed now, all can be seen on my Facebook Group HERE

3 STUNNING EXAMPLES OF THE BEAUTIFUL CREATIONS OF MANY
ON THE GROUP
Sharon Howington's throw with a black join

The 'Eye' motifs have 24 granny shells each side and they are joined to keep the rounded eye shape, with 9granny shells each end and 6 granny shells as a side. Works really well in keeping the rounded shape.
Sarah Tuckwell with a grey join colour
AND
Yvonne van der Marck with a stone coloured join
3 ABSOLUTELY STUNNING #CORONALCAL THROWS

THE NEW EYE JOIN
If you divide the 24granny shells equally 8, 8 and 8 granny shells you can join in a star shape, because all the sides to join are equal...just use the same join as you go between the granny shells for the ELONGATED HEXAGON.

So many from all around the World have taken part in this CoronaCal, we've covered every continent in the world....i chatted day and night with Hookers who are enjoy this cal and saying how it has got them through the lock in.

this picture show what can be achieved  from the centre of the eye pattern and join as you go on round 6

THANK YOU ALL,
its got me through the lock down too.

Still lots more to come to help you with the stress of our times....2020 will be a year we want forget, and I hope you blankets, cushions and throws will be a happy memory of a very frightening and for some a very, very sad time.

Thinking of you all and your wonderful blankets now emerging from over a month of staying home.
Its been a fantastic stash busting project for all Hookers who have joined the challenge. From total beginners to experienced Hookers.

Lots of variations still to come...but i do hope we soon can get back to something more like normal
