Cat food boxes covered in newspaper gives a nice texture when glued to the cardboard then put through a circle die cut

Some to be left as newspaper some to be painted and guilded to bring out the texture

PINK CROP DAY YESTERDAY

Bought myself a new washing up bowl a couple of weeks back so l wanted a dish cloth to match.....sad l know so l found a roll of recycled T-shirt yarn and knit myself two last night then died them in red food colouring few drops in water hey presto matching dish cloths...more time than money these days!!!...just had enough cut yarn to knit 2!!

YESTERDAYS PLAYTIME

Few days ago l saw a RECYCLED NEWSPAPER JOURNAL...made by Dyan from Art From The Art(doing a wkend Christmas class with her end of November)
Dyan had seen it on a free video of Donna Downey..downloaded it but couldn't open it so did my own version....oh and l had a trip to Ikea too new unit decided l couldn't stand the mess!!! hehehe still to be sorted hopefully tomorrows photo will be the neat n tidy version....wish me luck

I wore my milk bottle to dinner last night!!

'THE MACHINE' cuts plastic bottles brilliantly so l made a necklace from the milk bottle instead of throwing it in the bin!!
First thing friend said was, 'your necklace is pretty'...later on in the evening l asked if she really liked my necklace 'cos it was an made from velum and a plastic milk bottle hehehe...so maybe a successful use of trash?
