Finger wrap of 8 wraps

Round 1: 14sc [14dc], into circle

Round 2: ch2, 1dc [1tr], into first st, 2tr [2dtr], into next 4 sts, 2dtr [2ttr], into next st, ch3 picot, 2dtr [2ttr], into next st, 2tr, [2dtr] into next 4 sts, 1dc [1tr], ch 2 sl st into next st,

sl st into next centre st, ch36, 

Round 1: mini heart at the other end

sl st into 3rd st, from the hook, ch2, turn, 6dc [6tr], into tiny circle, ch3 picot, 6dc [6tr], into circle, ch2 sl st into circle cut off and sew in end.

 make the chain exactly the right length for your book so it sits in the crease and holds the page for you

Yet another bag based as the wool sack pattern on size 7mm hook this time and 8 rounds only then sides of single crochet( sooooooooooo slow to do but looks like moss stitch in knitting) for 4 inches and then a freeform 4" section fast hehehe and finish off with another slow 4"....fiished it by 4 this afternoon

Always hated these chairs so asap l'm going to paint them an idea from the new blog l found this morning they have painted theirs all different pastel colours....have 8 chairs all together so 1st 4 l'm using in 'Hers' l will try this out then maybe do the dining room 4 aswell and the bottom of the table....yet another project to keep me busy with hehehe

Love the colours in this bag so going to make a cowl scarf to match...just for me

Inspiration came from a cotton jumper l used to own many years ago...adored the jumper l wore it out have a pic some where will have to see if l can find it

Made a couple of the new dining room seat covers aswell today and took a few pics of the 'new look' for the dining room......the beginnings of the new country look for 'Hers' (delivered tomorrow did l say l was excited hehehe) and the house 'cos the look is really growing on me

JUST THOUGHT EDIT: this collage l did in April would go very nicely in the shed all pink and girly and it's a little squashed over the stairs where it hangs right now

Bit late getting out of bed again yesterday so late going shopping the www and crochet playtime is just so much fun first thing in the morning

Wanted to look in a fabric shop l've not been in for a while..Simon Boyd in Shrewsbury and a wool shop l couldn't find last time we were there...found it on Sunday but it was closed wasn't closed yesterday though!!.....

OOOOOOPS!!!.....A huge bag of colourful yarns later and 5 metres of fabric to play with

got cracking as soon as we got back and brought my sewing machine down from the tiny work space l have now....did l say l'm excited about the new 'shed'!!! hehehe

Made a couple of rosebud pillow cases....objected to buying them for £18+ per pillow case just because the look is trendy.....made mine for about £4 each

2metres of fabric at £6 a metre and used about 2/3rds of it lots left over to make some patchwork cushions or a bag maybe..watch this space

Also made 8 basic cushion covers and again lots of bits left over to make bags or patchwork with...watch this space!! lol

Never really been into the COUNTRY LOOK before but have become a bit addicted just lately....funny though hope l found so many bits and pieces about the house to give me the look l want so not much to buy to complete this new look

MADE A NEW WOOL BAG TODAY

Made a new wool bag today bought a couple of metres of plastic fabric in Dunelm sale a bit ago and l needed a bag big enough to keep all the Acrylics in one place....or it will hold 3 or 4 folders

Pmacs suggested l use that fabric to make Noo Noo's storage bags...brill idea as l couldn't get the bags from Ikea yesterday.....

IKEA sale going on there too and they had a beautiful cream iron bed and guess how much?.............£29.99 l really want one but l bet they will all have gone today....going to kick myself later l think over this!!!

The pink roses still look beautiful and with the new cushion front and the new mugs the shed look is coming together

Another flower collage with striped stem flowers

Large flower on newspaper die cuts....recycled cat food boxes

Cat food boxes covered in newspaper gives a nice texture when glued to the cardboard then put through a circle die cut

Some to be left as newspaper some to be painted and guilded to bring out the texture

TODAYS PLAYTIME

Cat food boxes, raspberry and pink paint some photographic print and stamped flowers a pair of scissors pva and a brush.....and l had as much fun as James

IN THE PINK FINISHED BUT NOT HUNG YET

An artist friend said it looked better on a white wall...have to agree she is right

went for 'less is more'...took out quite a few of the small forground die cut flowers....cant wait to start the next one will have to be a small canvas next all l have for now but going to try doing a canvas from scratch found some untreated canvas in loft.....all l need is a basic frame

BEGINNINGS OF 2 FLORAL COLLAGES

Should have been a lime and aqua flowers first the inspiration from a duvet cover....but the printer ran out of cerise ink so wont print anything....must buy a new printer

So l just played around with all the colours and wallpapers l had for now

added a few smaller die cut flowers too not sure what the end collage will be like yet but love the flowers l have so far large ones are about 12" and the smallest about 1"



hehehehe like scrapbooking on a grand scale.....very relaxing though cutting out flowers

this was an astounding £3 for the set!!...and very on trend covered n butterflies..so cute


this is the very expensive set l bought in TK Max a couple of days ago
beautiful embroidery and no idea what it was originally but l paid
£10...a bargain lol
the rose covered top is an old favourite and goes well over the top

off to the shops agan today but with James..he has his final list of things to get for Catterick and hes Pledging his oath today to Queen and country.....signing on the dotted line!!
