CoronaCal update...

I think we have one or two who want to do the CoronaCal. The motif pattern is written up and checked ready for a slightly earlier release.....

Hope everyone is ok, keeping sane in all this trauma, i know my days are all different, ok some and tears the next...mostly because I won't be able to see my gorgeous Grandson Oliver..growing so fast i'm going to miss a few things like crawling, walking and talking if this awful virus keeps us all inside our own home.....
Stay safe and Happy Hooking xxx

CoronaCal Blanket
Saturday 21st March for the motif pattern

colours used, but feel free to use your own colour combo, I love to see my patterns in Hookers own colour combos.
CoronaCal first motif is in... Stylecraft Aran, but you can make it in dk.
It will be smaller than the Aran version of around 12" x 18"

ARAN COLOURS FOR FIRST MOTIF IN ORDER OF USE
1: SPICE
2: POMEGRANITE
3: PALE ROSE
4: PISTACHIO
5: SAGE
6: CAMEL
7: GOLD
SPEARS
1: POMEGRANITE
2: PISTACHIO
OUTER BAND
1:SAFFRON
2: SPICE
3: STORM BLUE
4: DENIM

I will be working on the join...several options might manage more than one option...watch this space

Photographic mock ups so not totally accurate but gives you an idea of possible options...rows square repeated on its own or with another motif.
I've been asked how much of each colour..cant answer that yet but the
12" x 18" motifs [Aran], weigh approx. 56g each and thats using the 10 colours in different combinations.
SO...it will depend on what style blanket you choose to make as too how much you use and will it have another infill motif too....so total number of yarn balls is hard to estimate at the moment.

  5. Love your work! Your creative imagination takes crochet to an entirely higher level.Just wonderful. I feel the same way about missing my grandchildren. It is a shame our leaders choose not to listen to Science. Hopefully that will not be the case when our little ones grow-up. I plan on following the cal. but am also making PPE for our medical frontliners. Would it be possible to get the dates of each post so I don't miss out? Thanks so much for your time and sharing your art with us!
