PART 4: HALF EYE MOTIF
US Terms
Finger wrap of 5 wraps.
NOTE: The first anchor st doesn't count, so the first complete st, is made by the anchor and the first sc, you need 8sc to work into for the 2nd round.
SOME Rounds are worked into spaces and some into stitches.
ROW 1: 8sc into the circle. [8sts]
ROW 3: Att. yarn in fist sp, ch2, dc in same sp, miss 2sts, 3dc in next 5sps, 2dc in last sp. [5x 3dc, 2 x 2dc]
NOTE: The firsts ts can be a little hidden, so dont miss it!
ROW 4: Att. yarn in first sp, sc in same sp, sc in next 17sts, 2sc in last sp. [21sc]
ROW 5: Att. yarn in fist sts, ch1 [counts as first hdc] 1hdc, in same st, 1hdc, in next st, 2hdc, in next st, 1hdc in next 2sts, 2hdc in next st repeat the 1hdc in next 2stsm 2hdc in next stitch to last 2sts, 1hdc in next st, 2hdc in last st.

ROW 6: Double 'v' stitch round. Att. yarn in first st, ch3 [counts as first tr], miss 2sts, 2tr, ch3 2tr into next st, miss 3sts, 2tr, ch3, 2tr in next st, repeat to last 3 sts, miss 2sts, 1tr in last st. [2x1tr, 6 x double tr, 'v' sts]
ROW 7: Shell stitch round. Att, yarn in first sp, 3dc, ch3 3dc, in ch3 sp, sc in next sp, repeat to end, sc in last sp. [6 x shells stitch of 3dc ch3 2dc]
RIGHT AND LEFT HALF SPEARSLOOKING AT THE MOTIF FLAT SIDE DOWN
RIGHT SPEAR
Finger wrap of 6 wraps.
ROW1: Att yarn, in first st, ch5, tr into same st, dc into next 4sts, ch1, sl st, into first shell point, ch1, dc into same st, dc into next st, 2dc into last st, sl st into dip. Repeat for opposite end.
LEFT SPEAR
Finger wrap od 6 wraps.
ROW 1: 8sc into circle
ROW 2: Att.yarn in first st, ch2 sl st, into dip, dc into same st, dc into next 2sts, ch1, sl st, into first shell point, ch1, dc into same st, dc into next 3 sts, tr, ch2, tr into last st.
NOTE: Rounds AFTER SPEARS, uses spaces and stitches.
ROW 1: After adding 2 half spears. Att yarn in first spear point sp, ch1, 4sc, into same point, sc, into next 5sts, ch4, tr into sc, at dip, ch4 sc into next shell point, repeat to last ch4, sc in next 5sts of second spear, 4sc in point of half spear, TURN...
ROW 2: CONT. ch2 counts as first dc, dc in same st, dc in next 8sts, 4dc in next 10 x ch4 loops ONLY, to the spear, dc in next 5sts, dc in next 3sts, 2dc in last st. [60dc]
NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU GO BACK TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE MOTIF FOR ROUND 3
ROW 3: Att yarn in first st, ch2 counts as first dc, dc in same st, dc in next 2sts, 2dc in next st, dc in next 21sts, 2dc in next st, dc in next 8 sts, 2dc in next st, dc in next 21sts, 2dc in next st, dc in next 2sts, 2dc in last sp. [66dc]
ROW 4: 'v' stitch rounds, Att. yarn in first sp, ch4 dc in same sp, miss 2sts, dc, ch3 dc, in next st, repeat to end, dc ch2 dc in last sp. [23'V' sts]
ROW 5: Basically a repeat of round 4 BUT...using tr, ch3 tr, for your 'v's and start with ch5 [counts as tr, ch2 sp], tr, in same sp, and at the end you finish with tr, ch2 tr, in last sp. [23 'v' sts]
JOINING BORDER
ROW 1: Granny shells, att yarn, 4dc, ch1, 3dc, ch1, repeat the 3dc ch1, to end, in the last ch1 sp, 4dc. [23 granny shell]
ROW 2: JOIN AS YOU GO ROUND, Att. yarn in first sp, between the fist and second dc, dc, sl st to make first join into the 16th sp, 3dc sl st into the spaces, until you have joined 9 sps, you should be at the flat section of the join, join the next 6 sps. then cont. to do the 3dc ch1 to the end of the half motif.
MAKE AND JOIN 4 OF THESE HALF MOTIFS EITHER SIDE OF THE THROW.
Because the other two sides are not actually half motifs
AND IM TRYING MY BEST TO STAY IN FRONT OF YOU ALL WITH THIS CAL....
I decided to do a ripple band for the other 2 sides.
If you know me well, i dont usually do half motifs i'd much rather keep the decorative edges created but for this pattern i have added one half motif for you all x
