Lime and Plum Colourway...l seem to be really drawn too just lately...the crochet hex's l did a couple of days ago co-ordinate well
and always love the blue and lime

NEW BLOG LAYOUT...
Thanks for the layout comments girls, still deciding what to do

We'll see how it goes.....let me know what you think will you Please?
METAL FLOWERS
Phil is going to make me a metal flower or two l hope and may be a screen with the left over old bits from Bertie
not sure if this is a Palm tree or a giant Dandelion? lol
Have a Marvellous Monday everyone

AFTERNOON UPDATE: It is quite different and things are in different places but slowly managing to work it all out like the clean look of the new layouts and you can view different versions on the top bar try the FLIPCARD version and you click on the picture and it will bring up the full post....still trying to decide on which l will use but for now l'm using the MAGAZINE option

Living Dangerously....

A shout from Phil yesterday sent me running to the garage....MEN!!!
He will never ask for help and was struggling to get Bertie's body high enough to get the chassis back underneath...but it was beginning to topple
Health and safety would have shut him down hey? hehehe
Together we managed with a few wobbles to get Bertie back together again, well almost
Bit frightening at times but we managed to get two metal poles under both front and back, so if it fell it wouldn't go far and then started the slow journey
up, up,up and down, down, down
Not quite there yet but Phil needs to add some rubber seals to it some where..too technical for me hehehe

Looks a bit like a hot rod at the moment lol
At least it is solid again and a lot less lacy!

SOMETHING ERIE THOUGH THE BEDROOM CURTAINS...got me out of bed to a sky that looked like we were being visited by another world...
STAYING WITH THE HEX SHAPE FOR THE BOBBLE THROW
Don't like the jagged edge on 2 sides with trying to make a rectangle so a large Hex it will be
made 15 moifts yesterday and l'll add them today
Growing slowly

Have a Super Sunday everyone
Hugs to all xx

A few Crochet Stars and a Circle in a Hexgon

Thanks to all for the suggestions to what the hole in the wall could be..l'm afraid it is only a blocked up serving hatch and nothing as exciting as an old oven or fireplace..l wish!
House was built in the 70's, not old enough for something exciting to be hiding behind the plaster except of course some illegal wiring...that was chopped in half so the wall lights no longer work...oooops!
Good job we have a junction box that trips when the electricity in cut hey?

MADE A FEW MORE STARS..
So quick to make...a perfect Christmas Crochet project as cute scarves for presents or simple garlands and decorations

CIRCLE IN A HEXAGON PATTERN
No Crochet bobbles this time but they could be added hehe

and just a simple corner join as you go for this one

EDGES CURLING ON YOUR CROCHET?
With the new stash of used up colours arriving l have FINALLY finished the bathroom rug too with guess what?.........
Of course a row of bobbles, these bobbles are a great way of finishing things off so they don't curl
every other stitch so that is......
SC in the first st, then a cluster of 2 trebles in the next st, then repeat until round complete
The Booble Stitch is quite heavy so it weights the edge....
Looks great and now NO CURL, still could do with blocking but at least the bath mat is finished at last

Have a wonderful Weekend everyone

Hope you are all enjoying this Indian Summer we are having in the UK....marvellous hey?
hugs to all xx

hehehehe spot the boob?..always pays to read what you write don't you think?
