R.I.P. A SAD CROCHET TALE

If you've been following me from the early days of my crochet blog then you might remember this lovely felted bag i made...

It was my first crochet/felted bag

Sorry to say its just been CREMATED....

I think I found the cause of my
MOTH PROBLEM
didn't want to take any chances so it was all burnt together with several balls of yarn too

very sad

  2. Such a sad end to such a lovely creation! I have just begun to venture past acrylic yarns, so I will certainly take your experience to heart.

    1. Hi, yes plastic ziplock bags and plastic sealed boxes don't let them get in in the first place and you should be ok. Good luck with the naturals, a place for all types of yarn try the half and half mixes too another yarn worthy xx

  3. Could you not have sealed it in an impenetrable box with some camphor and/or mothballs to kill them? It would have taken a fair bit of washing and airing after, but may have been salvagable.......

    1. Hi, i could i suppose but wasn't taking any chances and the bag was riddled with holes in the bottom so took the decision to burn. Prevention is better than a cure I guess xx
