Remember this from January I think I posted this picture, one from my book?
I ran out of the one colour of Merino..came across it in a sort out the other day and wondered what it it or something similar would look like in the stone washed Batik wool yarn?......still don't have the colour i wanted so played around with the idea a little in the batik
Love the secondary pattern that appears when you join similar coloured granny squares together
Tried several flowers but the Anemone flower from another pattern was the winner for me
What do you think?.....
and into a blanket....
No Edge stitch yet...
