Ready for part 4 of the Carousel..out today

I've managed to do 3 of my many colour ways up to part 3 so they are now ready for part 4 thats released today

the pastel version i finished at about 5.30 this morning wasn't sure i would get it done for today

the Extra Special marl a late addition was completed a few days ago,

as was the Special

the King Arthur i will work on for the next workshop in November and not sure i will get to a Batik version this side of Christmas even.

Wont be around for the next 4 days off to spend some time with friends for rest and relaxation, a trip to Skipton for 4 days and Yarndale for the next 2 days

It's all coming together nicely....several of the Extra Special Carousels have been completed along side lots of the other packs

Carousel Extra Special

I am making the Greengage colour way along side you all and have been playing with the colours a little...

 original colour choice...if you use the Viola to join the bands together use this colour way

trying 4 colours for the banding......

 I tried using 4 colours...not working for me

I decided I wanted to replace the viola with the Atlantis for the last round of the part one and after playing with the banding have decided to use the Sandstone and Waterfall for the bands and join with the Atlantis...

Have you made different decisions if using the Extra Special packs?

Hope to have the banding almost completed today, but i am off to Yarndale for 4 days tomorrow morning so lots to do today so might not manage to complete this section of the pattern...crossing everything

We are heading towards 4,500 members already and everyone is having a ball

Fabulous day at Black Sheep yesterday..

I had a wonderful day at Black Sheep Wools wonderful shop/studio yesterday with a fabulous group of eager ladies for the Triangle workshop...we laughed gossiped and learnt through the day 

Black Sheep gave us a wonderful lunch and yummy afternoon cakes and endless supplies of tea and coffee....I had a superb day out, THANKS X

Everyone managed to make at least 2 triangles and we talked through tips and techniques and shared lots of chatter...the day went far to quickly

 It's a Wrap in Batik ...the fabulous new yarn from Stylecraft, everyone loved the feel and springiness

Wish I could say the same for the journey home...accidents and weekend traffic not so good. 

Primrose helped to make it a little easier, she's a bit bossy though!

The bluetooth, hands free, phone (a quick call received for OH, wanting to know where i was) with just the touch of a button right by your thumb on the streaming wheel call accepted and disconnected...safe and easy.

The awesome touch screen, telling me who it was, the sat nav guiding me all the way with great, easy to read graphics and it playing my favourite Radio Station for the whole journey. Cherry on the top....barely used any fuel

The Carousel is moving along at a fast pace...dozens and dozens of beautiful Part 1 motifs are appearing on the 

OFFICIAL CAROUSEL GROUP
