Flower/Triangle trim PATTERN.

TAKING STOCK of Life and my blog....

I have found one or two old pattern from quite a few years back, badly written and lost! Or not easy to find, patterns i knew were there but even i found them really hard to find. This one i am going to remake in Colours to fit the new kitchen, soft blue's, grey, navy, black, cream and oatmeal.

This is one of the first of a few free pattern to come. I will be updated and rewriting, so they are now easier to follow.

Just a quick update on the triangles and flowers from the rose print cushion inspiration

NEEDLE FELTING

Saw needle felting on a u-tube video was fascinating..just had to have a go at that...

E-bay £25 later and a day waiting l got a part fleece...not so sure its a good buy though seems very hairy and not very soft..will ask when l go to the Ellesmere Spinning meet on the 14th July
Small carders..cheap just in case l didn't like it
A 3 sets of felting needles
A handle for 4 needles
Large sponge out of the loft
Off l went.....made my 1st tiny piece and added some spots of cat hair...well they leave enough of it around
2ND PIECE WAS DONE IN A STAR COOKIE CUTTER...and turned into a pink flower with food colour....need more work before a finished picture may do some embroidery on it when its dry..something to ponder on for 24hours

TODAYS PLAYTIME

a
Loo roll Flower decoration.....cover a loo roll in chosen paper cut into 1/2" slices then open slightly so they look like a petals glue edge and press onto paper when dry cut round the petals
Glue 6 together and add a center snowflake...strengthener too will help hold the whole flower together..both sides of petal can be covered (if hanging in a wndow ) and beads and wire added at the bottom and a loop at the top or just pop on the tree as they are!

PAINT ON 1ST CANVAS TODAY...
I've had 4 canvases in the attic for 3yrs.... always mean to do some painting when l retired...well l've put paint to canvas today...long way off fnished but thought the 1st layer would make a great subtle background paper for scrapbooking maybe

Close up....looks like rows of pearls so far
