Never be without a Philip...Blanket Ladder in an afternoon

This morning i asked if we could make a Blanket Ladder? 

[thats the royal we], because all I did was a scribbled sketch of what i wanted

 Phil, love him did all the rest. 

We found broom handles at Wicks and two lengths of wood for the sides for around £23.

and by teatime tonight...i had a fabulous Blanket Ladder

Still needs to be sanded and stained with an oak stain, but isn't it wonderful?

Couldn't wait until it's finished.

One or two blankets hanging around on the backs of chairs...so very pleased with my new Blanket Ladder

tomorrow i will sand it and stain it and dig out one or two more blankets..theres plenty of them packed away.

Need to thank Blinds2go too, fantastic new clip in the door blinds...

not cheap blinds, but cheaper than any where else for these fantastic and easy to measure and fit clip in blinds that drop down or pull up...brilliant

Found these panels in a B and M store going to hang 12 in the conservatory window to help shade us from the blazing sun!!

l'm back Mum you can sleep now and stop worrying.....and l can't really see any cuts but the blood bath l woke up too worried me to death when Mr T went missing for the day too!!

New bandsaw to play with...oh so much fun to be had...needed a good clean out and a new blade...perfect

A tense moment at the end but we won!!! hehe....to be collected from Doncaster on the way home from Catterick tomorrow.....only a small bandsaw but hoping we can be creative with it soon

For Phil's shed but l've always wanted a band saw at home too.....many a happy hour spent cutting out wooden Christmas decorations...oooooooohhh excited or what!!

Got side tracked yesterday from dressmaking so sadly my dress isn't finished yet....the boards were delivered so we worked on Phil's shed and it's almost fully insulated boarded and painted too!!
