Dulux in Urban Obsession, first coat on...

And a few more stars made....had to wait 4 hours between coats so decided to do the second coat today.
loving how it looks, very period feel to the wall now..
before i did the top wall sections..liked it a lot
but i kept going and for a few minutes wasn't sure....but its made the room look bigger we think....definitely needs a second coat

the giant stars don't look quite so big on the new wall...might need to make at least one even bigger

Made a few more Stars in the late afternoon/evening
in red and black with a flower incorporated into the star instead of applying a flower, experimenting so nearly all are different

Another coat of paint today and then all the furniture can go back for now...going to add a new mantle shelf a bit wider so I can put the light on it i think.

  1. Awesome!
    I like this post 😊👍👏👏👏

    1. Hi, thanks...we are really pleased with it so far

  2. Really lovely, Sue. I love the relaxing aura of the grey. I was in an interiors shop today (high end!)and she was selling these great tie-backs with pom-poms at the end of them and I asked the price and she said without batting an eyelash '£125......each!'.Well I've decided to make my own from some clothes rope (which is what the expensive ones looked like), dyed grey and will make own pom-poms in various colours, thereby saving myself £250!!!

    1. Hi Nana, thanks and wow! what a saving and the fun of making them happy i went with the dark grey it's really changed the whole room and has like you say make it very relaxing
