A very old pattern i made several in shades of pink

todays version is a Blue shaded Rose...

sewing them together takes a little practise...but making them is easy just base chain and 2 rows

Some progress has been made, i decided i wanted to put at least one flower into a hoop, it took 2 buys to get the correct size. None of the hoops cost me more than a £1, but I now have 3 different sizes. 
Who knew Hoola Hoops came in so many different sizes? They are all different thickness's too!

COVERING THE HOOP

Covering the largest hoop at the moment, for the large blue flower.

I'm over half way with about 5'  3" / 160cm and have almost used a 
full 100g of dk cotton yarn with a 10st strip.

It's going to be 8' 4" [100"/254cm] long. To go all the way around the hoop, you'd never guess a large hoop could be that long would you?

DAISY CAMPER BLANKET/WRAP...NooNoo is getting a bit of a makeover

About a week ago i gave you a couple of new lacy options for joining squares

I'm using a version of option 3 for a new 

You can see i've changed the centre flower for the New Camper Blanket/wrap, it shows you if you have a 12 section centre you can add this join to any similar square

For now all I have done is a long first row over 6' so perfect length for a wrap to start me off

NooNoo Camper is getting a make over with a new wrap/blanket using the new table cloth as inspiration

I say wrap/blanket because it will be a 6' wrap to start with and grow over time

USING 6 COLOURS

2 Shades of grey, cream, duck egg blue, soft sage green and 2shades of pistachio and ochre DK

I am using dk and a 4mm Hook

But it could be made in Aran and 5mm hook

US Terms 

A  finger wrap of 10 wraps,

Round 1: 12sc into wrap circle, first anchor stitch counts as fist sc, sl st, to complete. [12sc}

 Round 2: 3tr, clusters, in each st, ch2 counts as first, part made tr, 2 more half made tr, yo, pull through all the stitches, ch2, repeat for each st. sl st to complete. [12 petals]

Round 3: att. second col. in any ch2 sp, between 2 petals, ch5 sc in next sp, repeat to end, sl st, to complete. cont. in same col. [12 x ch5 loops]

Round 4: ch 2 counts as first dc, 4dc, ch5 picot, 5dc, in same ch5 loop,[corner],  sc in next ch5 sp, ch5, [side], sc in next ch5 sp, repeat, sl st, to complete. 
[10dc and ch5 loop each side]

Join as you go: use a sl st, replacement for the 3rd ch st in the ch5 picot and the ch5 side loops, complete the first square, then add the next and subsequent squares using the sl st from the front method.

top two motifs have a filled in centre to do that start with a circle of 8dc, I prefer the holes.

4mm hook dk yarn
5mm hook Aran yarn

change colour for each round 

Make a loose finger wrap of 5 wraps, or you can ch5, but the finger wrap saves on yarn, has no end, and looks neater.

ROUND 1: ch2(counts as first dc), 15dc into wrap, sl st to complete. (16dc)

ROUND 2: 2sc into each st, sl st to complete. [32sc]

ROUND 3: clusters of 4 trtr, [yarn over 4 times, pull through 5 times] but worked over 2st, and held after the 4th pull through on the hook so the last pull through is through all 4 sts, clustering the petal tog. ch3 repeat for all 16 petals, sl st to complete. [16 petals of 4trtr clusters]

ROUND 4:3dc, ch3 3dc, [corner] in any ch3 sp, 4dc in next ch3 sp, [side], repeat for all 8 sides. [10dc each side x 8]

join as you go between each 4dc at sides and the 3dc in corners, use a sl st to join the the first competed octagon.

INFILL

Finger wrap of 5 wraps, 

ROUND 1: ch2 counts as first dc, 3dc ch3, 4dc, ch3, 4dc, ch3, 4dc, ch3, sl st to complete. [4dc each side]

ROUND 2: Join as you go in the corners by using a sl st to replace the 2nd ch st.

2dc, ch1, sl st, ch1, 2dc, [corner] in first ch3 sp, 1dc in next 4sts, repeat to end joining in each corner, sl st, to complete. [8dc each side]
