NEW START TOMORROW

Determined to get to grips with my weight gain in the last 18months so l've been looking at the Diet chef...Jenny Craig....very expensive that one £199 to join before you get any meal packages
I'm not a cook, much rather play hooky than spend hour in the kitchen and Phil bless him, always want to feed me up with his fabulous cooking and my will power is zilch
SO...thought l'd see how much Weight Watchers meals etc would be and compare them
7 meals, 7 puds, 7 soups, 7 cakes, about half the cost of Diet Chef and didn't bother to work out the Jenny Craig one
l'll add fresh veg to the main meal or a salad
Ryvita to eggs for breakfast and the soups for lunch
and some fresh fruit and half a pint of Skimmed milk for tea each day
Going to stick to about 1000-1200 cals per day
Wish me luck...it's just got to work, so fed up with nothing fitting!

CORNER FILL IN ON THE TRIANGLE INSET GRANNY
Fiddled and played and slept on it until it came to me
Just the sides to sort out now...might need to sleep on that one too lol
hugs to all x

  3. My doctor put me on a calorie counting diet in middle January and so far I've lost 28 pounds. Hubby went on it in March with me and he has lost 25 pounds. We are both feeling much better but still have a lot more to lose. We eat what we have always eaten - no special foods or anything new other than limiting the portions so we don't go over our calorie limit. We split a meal out because there is just too much food for one person to eat most of the time. We buy our snacks individually packaged so we can easily limit the portion and know the calorie count by reading the packet. 1000 to 1200 calories is low so you should lose weight without any problem. We're not limiting our calories that low. If we go without too much we know we won't stick with it. Good luck to you!

  4. I've been reading your blog for a couple of months now and love the stuff you create - particularly the paper flower lights and the Japanese flower blanket. I can't wait to see more yummy pompoms too.
I happen to be a weight loss coach and am in the happy position of being one of the beta testers of a fantastic site for supporting healthy weight loss. Would you like free membership? It would be my pleasure and it's no obligation, of course.

  5. Dear Suz.. you're on the right track to start thinking about changing your diet. I've been swimming religiously, but haven't changed what I eat so much. I have to do that.

Love that you're coming back to roses. By the way, my son found a camper bus for $6,000 and he's getting it! Will show you photos when he brings it home.
    ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

The cost of the weeks WW meals and snacks came to less than £20 half the price of any through the post and l can buy a week at a time and not have to layout cash for 3 months at a time..a plus point..lets see if it work now!
    Hugs to all x
