After Novembers very successful workshop another is just around the corner, next weekend another 10 Hookers and lots of fun...cant wait

maybe something from a tile or two? ssssshhhh! its a secret

DAY 11 ADVENT CALENDAR SLIPPER WRAP

Well, it's getting harder and harder to crochet every day, time of the year! 
What with Christmas lunches, outing and shopping......Always seem to find a few minutes to crochet but posting the results is not so easy.

Last Knit and Natter yesterday, thanks Linda for starting the group and for modelling my Slipper Wrap...

Linda started the Knit and Natter i joined at The Lantern just a few months ago 

Couldn't think of an edging stitch for The Slipper Wrap, so i wore it any way and everyone agreed it didn't really need another edging stitch as it has the sc, ch3, sc, loop, join as you go edging already, for now i'm leaving it without.

Christmas Lunch out and i'm only just back so not a lot of crochet time again to day xx

DAY 7 CROCHET ADVENT CALENDAR

It's growing slowly 51" [130cm] long now, decided to make a wrap.....but with the possibility of turning it into a large blanket if i get fed up of it as a wrap

 All the blended colours i've used in the Slipper Wrap in a hdc square.

DAY 5 AND DAY 6+ CROCHET ADVENT CALENDAR

I'm afraid day 5 wasn't a good crochet day, I managed a few more motif's for the Slipper blanket 
[slipper pattern from my 2nd book, Granny Squares and Shapes]

appointments and sleep got in the way...caught napping in the afternoon, lol

Having found a bag of motifs the same as the front motif from the slippers, i though joining them together a good Advent project

probably more joined together with the sc, ch3 loop, miss a st, sc, repeat, join as you go, than needed now so for the next couple of days i will continue to complete this blanket

only changes are to the 4th round and i've taken out a stitch or two so the top and bottom points are just 2tr, ch3, 2tr.

Aiming for 11 rows x 9 then a border and I'm using 9 colours

1: Dusky pink
2: Burnt orange
3: Rust
4: Yellow
5: Aqua
6: Mid Blue shade
7: Rose pink almost red shade
8: Stone
9: Tan

CUSHION CAL: NO. 10 CIRCULAR CUSHION PART 2 INFILLS

Thanks for the phenomenal response to the Cushion cal, I am working on making it into a blanket. Each approx. 16" motif weights around 95g so allowing 100g for individual tensions 

 Part 2 is the diamond shape infill

 Tip to tip it will be approx. 16" across

Aran special and Alpaca tweed for 2 colours

Feel free to pick your own colour combination but if you want to follow my colours exactly follow the 2 colour charts below...

DIAMOND/SPEAR SHAPE INFIL  

TIP: Can i suggest beginners do one with out the join as you go to get the feel of the pattern before trying to join it, but if you feel able to go ahead and join as you go with the first then have fun

PATTERN
A finger wrap of 5 or 6 wraps

ROUND 1: 12sc, [12dc], into the circle

ROUND 2: Starting at the outer point, ch6, counts as first tr [dtr] and ch3 point,
1tr [1dtr] into the first st, 


1dc [1tr], into the next 3 sts,



dc [tr], ch3, dc [tr], into the next st, (side point),


1dc [1tr] into the next st, 1dc [1tr], ch3 1dc [1tr], into the next st (bottom point) 

1dc [1tr] in the next st, 1dc [1tr], ch3, 1dc [1tr], into next st, (second side point), 

complete with 1dc [1tr], in next 3 sts, 

sl st into the ch 6 loop, to complete

NOTE: Use the second ch st on each point to join the diamond/spear to the dip and points of the shells of round 9 of part 1.
