BUTTERFLY GARLAND
Cut out lots of  Butterfliesin 3 sizes to make a butterfly garland for the black and white bedroom that will just transfer from here to Bakewell but 3 inches of snow kept me from the sewing machine in the shed at the bottom of the garden...will try to get it made up asap and in the bedroom for a photo shoot hehe

BAKEWELL BLACK AND WHITE

Checking out the postings of my favourite blogs TATERTOTS AND JELLO jumped out at me yesterday

  Black and white spotty china?
Perfect for the Bakewell display cabinets in the kitchen l thought!!

So off l toddled to the shops to find some cheap black china to decorate (managed to find some for a similar price) not that l haven't got a lot of black and white china already you understand hehehe

It's been a favourite over the years but a girl just can't have enough pretty things don't you think???
funplaytime with sticky spots and sticky backed plastic mixed with some of my black and white will look fab in the Bakewell display cabinets don't you think?

Thanks Tattertots and Jello for a fabulous idea going to have lots of fun with this one
Still need to find the white sticky back plastic to really make the ideas work for me but love the idea so much just needed to tell all my friends about you and your fab idea

MEMEORIES TO SHARE

Looking for sticky backed plastic today l found the black and the pink but wanted the white..no idea where it's gone too...

But found an album of old photos so l took photos of photos  so forgive the quality

Went all sentimental l did hehehe and thought l'd share some of the things that made me a living for a few years......15years ago!
Life size dolls and one or two hats...made thousands over the years along with many other hand crafts, childrens clothes and lots of dress making.....aaaahhh memories

Made the hats from furnishing fabrics and they sold really well one or two for a couple of hundred pounds..gasp!!

This was my favourite doll and she went to a B&B for a display

BORED YET??? LOL

CONSERVATORY OPTIONS
pretty well a straight transfer of furniture..at least l think so but you never know l might do something totally different who knows!!

BATHROOM OPTIONS
got to be black white and light beige but so many different options for the black and white...pattern stripes checks trees!! hehe
the 6th picture is a shower curtain from Argos....love it and the price
Love the idea of mixing lots of different black and white patterns
even found a couple of country looks using black and white fabrics too!

May even make my own wall paper...got lots of 12" black and white square from the hand done
scrap booking days
They would make a lovely patch work of wall paper in a small dose of course hehe....around the mirror as a frame maybe with all the walls white and a shower curtain from Argos!!....couldn't believe that find and it's reduced to £7.99 WOW!

POSSIBLE STAIR SYSTEM FOR BAKEWELL

New Home Poem

A house is bricks and wooden beams
A home is made of love and dreams
Love the FUSION STAIR SYSTEM and the oak finish rather than the dark hand rail and painted ranch style stair case maybe not straight away but at some time l hope!!
Easy to fit so the site says!! hehe

A PORCH AND HALLWAY TO PLAY WITH AT BAKEWELL

BAKEWELL ENTRANCE
has a porch and hallway for me to play with!
love this 1st photo but no storage with it
and we need to use the space for coats shoes etc so maybe not practical for us unless
l can get all of the needed storage in the porch and this could be in the hallway at the bottom of the stairs!!

How the hall and porch look now

A few options for the hall and porch from the furniture we already own l think all would fit

some fun playtime to come hehehe

MORE POLYVORE PLAYTIME

Can't stop

MORE POLYVORE PLAYTIME!

cC

CONSERVATORY AND LOUNGE COLOUR

Our sofas are bright orange but always wanted shocking pink covers so may make some for the new house but the orange will work just the same
Would love to add an ornate period chair like the one on the right in the collage

Will keep the black and white theme going through the whole house so it all flows l think...so much black in there already going to have to incorporate it at least for a few years
Good job l like black and white!!!
Phil hates wallpaper but l told him l won't interfere with his garage if he does stop my playtime hehehehe

MORE COLLAGES

Found a couple of bed heads as well on my Google travels

FILLING THE TIME 'TILL APRIL WITH INSPIRATION BOARDS

POLYVORE is so much fun discovered you can create interior storyboards too....

APOLOGIES

Just to let people know that l have tried and tried to leave comments on friends blogs but for some reason l can't and l can't work out why..... l can't even leave a comment in my own comments box

Hope this sorts itself out because l cant see any way of solving it either!!!
Will leave messages on the blog for now.....

Thanks Jude for the link and l think you are right the 'Bakewell' is from Derbyshire all the street names seem to be from there in the area but it's not the actual 'Bakewell' just the street name
Have fun Hugs Suz x

BAKEWELL ADVENTURE

Right where do l start?
FIRSTLY....thanks for following the Bakewell adventure and glad you all liked the blues
It's always fun to see houses become homes don't you think?

So to the hub of the home first....lol

THE KITCHEN
The mainly black & white kitchen with approximately 30 cherry wood units.....30!! that's about what l had at my old faimly home before my divorce and l loved that everything had it's place nice and tidy.....But this kitchen has under floor heating too...very nice!

Not a kitchen l would have chosen l really wanted a white shaker style with a butlers sink but it's too good to get rid of just yet so l'm going to have to work with what l have for now

The only thing that will have to go is the UPVC split barn door style back door with an awful mock stained glass upper panel just can't live with that!!
Thinking black and white wall paper to bring it all together
l hope!!

DINING ROOM AND LOUNGE
really not sure at all except the fold back double doors either end of the dining room will have to be re-glazed for something else.......l hate the glass panels
Lounge.....?
The fireplace in the lounge will have to go too but really not sure with what just yet!!!

MASTER BEDROOM AND EN-SUITE....
with its pale blue shower panels are the only rooms l really have completely decided on with no doubts
As you all saw from the blue inspiration collages yesterday
a white French/Rococo style bed head for our very comfy 6' bed
white furniture and lots of blue white
and silver gilt mirrors etc

This is what THE BEDROOM looks like at the moment but there are lots of sockets and TV points high up on the wall for a flat screen TV!!!
22'X12' CONSERVATORY....
where our bright orange sofas will go.....l think!

l might part screen it and use a few feet of the one end for crafting/office area and add my Expedit storage units
lots of long floating shelves and the low white and chrome units too

Love the light oak laminate floor in there though...pity
the underfloor heating wasn't in there too! hehe
All in all l still loved the space yes there are changes to be made some quickly some over the next couple of years and as l'm a mover and shifter of furniture l will probably change things around a lot just for fun hehehehe...but l'm still loving Bakewell and James did too
can't wait for the beginning of April....watch this space hehehe
