James spent the middle of the day here and we sat in the garden...perfect so good to see him happy and smiling again

BACK TO FRONT WITH A SCALLOPED EDGE

More by luck than judgement but the back and front went together so easily with a single crochet then l added a scalloped edge of 7DC  spaced over 5sts

Was going to ask you all which l should do but made the decision all by myself hehehe

loved it once l had gone half way round

Got to make a few of these it goes so well in both bedrooms and on the orange sofa with my collage of flowers behind

now A CARDY/JACKET to design using the same flowers samples will be done tonight l hope

FEW LITTLE JOBS DONE IN BAKEWELL

Managed to finish the cushion back yesterday morning but still haven't managed to put it together yet....

Decided to try and make a jacket for the ColourMart comp with AF's as a trim and  hat and scarf in a stripe l think...but that could all change got 2 months to complete projects

We spent the day doing a few little jobs like altering the shelves in the airing cupboard so l can reach them all!!  

Being 5 foot nothing can be a real pain some times!! hehehe

All the bags of bed linen now sorted and in the cupboard

Door repaired and hung in the small bedroom still to paint......but l shut it and no door knob so now can't open it to put the extra clothes away hehehe...silly me!

Lots of storage in Bakewell and l'm getting it all sorted slowly

Washed a lot of curtains/bed linen while the sun is shining new cream curtains up ready for Kathryn's weekend visit Lettuce has vacated it for you K!!! hehehe
Not added any accessories yet but the bed is waiting for ya!!..couple of new cushion cover to make today and the AF cushion will look great in there as well as in our room

Sorry it's not decorated yet K.....but new windows going in Friday so thought it better to leave until then but looking ok for your visit......can't wait hugs xx

New lights up in our room..more space on the bedside cupboard for my crochet!! hehehe
Added the new chrome shower head and rail in the bathroom....

You can see why we needed new windows at the front...can't see through them the seals are totally shot and l'm changing the look of them too...so next weekend new window pics to come!!

looks like a sauna hehehehe!!

LETTUCE SHOCKS AND POTS

Lettuce is getting adventurous!

Nasty shock yesterday all declined but my credit card was compromised!!!.....new card on its way

it had gone international...and l only use in on Amazon!!!!!!!!!!! 

oh dear Amazon l might be changing where l buy my books from in future

VITAMIN B

Got a lot done at old house yesterday and need to go register at the New Doctors today

think l need a dose of Vitamins 

tip of my tongue is very red and soooo sore....seems like its a B Vit deficiency! 

But l'll check it out just incase

HOOKY  UPDATE
Almost but not quite lol......managed a few rows but just couldn't stay awake any longer last night but only a couple of rows to do on the cushion back so fingers crossed it will be finished by the morning and l can do a few more hex's on the Noo Noo blanket
and decide what l'm going to make in the Ravelry....

BLUE POTS BLUE SKIES AND HELP NEEDED PLEASE?

The sky this morning at 7 o'clock

Won't miss all the slugs and snails we had at the old house

they used to eat everything and particularly my Hosta collection

managed to rescue my blue pot of Hostas yesterday from the slugs and snails...

.there doesn't seem to be any in Bakewell's garden.....

The Hosta already here hasn't one hole in it!!

TOTAL RELIEF!!! 

emptied the old house yesterday..what a relief that is

Agent in to find us a tenant as we didn't manage to sell so that's another worry out of my head

Got back about  3ish and did a bit in Bakewells front garden
trimmed the overhanging conifers...we now have a path to the front door!!
And we washed the slab and brick paths...now they sparkle hehe

 THE WISTERIA IS BLOOMING......

Needs a bit of training running a bit rampant hehehe....So glad l found out what l had before

 l cut it down!!!...ooops

Treated the Lawn with AFTER CUT....looks like it's working!!

I love the garden flowers and colour but l'm no gardener not really......

Can anyone tell me what this is it looked to pretty a leaf to be a weed but no sign of any flowers so really not sure?

Thanks again the cushion is really loved almost finished the back....maybe tomorrow it will be completed

Back to Old house today to fill all the holes throw a pint or two of white paint about collect all the plants l want to bring to Bakewell and tidy the rest today

THEN WE CAN REALLY GET GOING ON BAKEWELL PROPA!!!

ALMOST FINISHED BED CUSHION

Thanks for all the fabulous comments about my bed cushion...have to say l'm really chuffed with it and love how it looks on the £1 bed hehehe..still not finished..oops another one of those half finished projects
Another reason for trying to do the cushion quickly..then l don't have another idea and move on to that one!

TERRIBLE AT FINISHING PROJECTS ONCE I KNOW THEY WORK......an ideas person not a finisher lol

About a 1/3rd of the back done but won't get back to it for a couple of days last attempt to finish emptying the old house..need all the luck in the world to do this..
both of us have really had enough of the trips and boxes now!

RW Party was a real laugh and a very happy event......although l fell asleep later on...l was so tired think l need a good dose of Vitamins and more walking.....always seem to be so tired these day.....old age creeping on!!! lol
