TRY OUT FOR JOINING THE STARS

Had a play with joining a few stars this afternoon.....bit gloomy so pictures aren't the best

20 joined together with SC...The beginnings of a throw?

James hates the holes!

I had thought about backing it with a fabric, l knew he would say....'what about those holes?' lol

AND
I'm not sure that it doesn't look better with no joining colour, just the stars
what do you think?

Afternoon Update...RANDOM IT IS GOING TO BE

Afternoon update:

made a few more stars then played with the layout.....James arrived for his dinner and he said random was best the others looked too designed and it should look old, as if l was using up balls of wool.

Just like they would have in the olden days.....made me feel old for some reason hehe

Now l need to make all 140ish and decide on the colour l will use to join them together?

I though a Stone colour, got lots of that and James agrees with me..

EASY PEASY!

Decisions made then...no more thinking just some hooky action

COLOURS SO FAR

7 deep orange/red/pink

8 purple/lilac/plum

9 pale pinks

8 blues/turquoise

11 greens

Total: 41, so about a 100 to make @ 4 an hour that's 25 hours of colourful playtime

A PJ day here too...hehe

It seems like it is a favoured outfit to craft in...glad l'm not alone and now l will stop feeling guilty for having  

PJ DAY too....lol

Almost 40 large stars made now...just started the orange/yellow but l was so tired last night 

l only managed one orangey colour...lots more to make today though

Pondering a lot on how to put them all together....

Stripes, squares, shaded, blocks, or random, so many options to play with

Thanks for your patience...

Not a lover of 'going back' but l'm afraid l've given up on the new 'DYNAMIC LAYOUTS'..HA!

So back to the old layout, such a shame but you lovely people have been struggling for too long with it

I'm sorry there have been so many problems with the new layout

STARRY NIGHT

managing to make 4 an hour easily, it's going to makes for a quick throw

Little piles of stars are appearing quite fast now, making about a hundred then l'll play with the layout and see how many more l need 

Remember this...

well it is still alive and growing too...new flowers or are they red leaves appearing?

I found a site that said in a real setting the plant would get daily water from drips off the plant and it doesn't like to have wet roots, although it liked lots of water, l was a bit confused but decided to spray it all over every day and not actually water the roots only once every month or so

Seems to be working it has definitely grown since l bought it

at the end of  September

2nd Loo Roll Advent Calendar

The second Advent Calendar, not quite finished, is more sparkly with holographic card snowflakes

and chocolate coins inside.....they did take quite a while to make but hoping they will last a couple of years if opened carefully

Phil bought me some Lilies and cabbage flowers..he knows how l like unusual flowers lol xx

Only 41 crafting days left...lol

Using the Organized Christmas site my Christmas action plan is getting smaller by the day...

The cards are sorted, half my presents and crackers bought, the table is planned, hand made presents are well under way and lots of other little sorting and cleaning jobs completed...feeling relaxed and ready for the fun

Can't sleep...Pinterest, crochet stars and the colour purple

......so l got up to make a few stars but got distracted by PINTEREST, and the colour purple,lilac, lavender, mauve and all related shades, click to see the colour analysed 

No idea why this colour appears in my life every now and then, so l looked it up...

Not a colour l love and it usually doesn't stay around for long...l just need it as a friend occasionally

Almost out of the cardboard loo rolls now, but at least the choc's are safely inside the tubes this year
Last year l bought the choc's 3 times before they got into the calendars lol
