Living Christmas trees.....

When Phil and I had our first Christmas together almost 9 years ago, we bought a small table top living Christmas tree. You should see it now about 13' high in the garden of our old house....and it looks fabulous.
We planned to do the same when we moved to this house, but never got around to it.
Until this year and we bought two slow growing
PICEA Glauca 'Conica' they will grow to about 7' over 25years.
It is gorgeous out side today but won't it be a shock to them if I leave them out side from now on after being in central heating for a month?
Can't find anything about doing it gradually on line anyone know what would be best for them?
As I have just said it is like a beautiful warm day today....Spring like day or even an early Summer day.....I wonder what is coming, this isn't normal?
My pot of Black Tulips are growing so quickly in the warm temperatures
and there are flowers on my primroses...a sign of early Spring they say.
It will soon be Spring all over again.

  1. I have an idea for your trees.. wrap them in a tarp for a few days while they acclimate. It's worth a try! Can't wait to see your black tulips in bloom! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

    1. Hi Teresa..thanks for the tip...I put them outside and ooops! Forgot to bring them in or cover them, having said that I slept with the window open last night so may be I GIT away with it?....I hope anyway
      Thanks x
