GREAT EVENING.....SOOOO MISS YA BOTH
Wonderful afternoon with my lovely son....heard all about his timed run and his morning with the next army intake..he soooo cant wait to go now....was a geriatric recruit hehe at 24 but held his own was in the 1st 3 or 4 for run time at 10mins 11seconds (needed to be under 12mins 45 secs) not bad for an old man lol
This the regiment he's hoping to join...
Brill evening with 2 of my bestest friends...soooooo miss the laugh a minute we had at work....have a brill Christmas both love ya both
Off to see another friend who is trying to rope me into doing a few hours voluntary work this afternoon.....see how it goes.....l'd have to learn to use a watch again if l give it a go!! lol

taken from the centre of another pattern, to make a lovely Lacey scarf, If you look closely it sort of resembles a celtic cross in a circle...
CELTIC CROSS PATTERN
DK, Cotton or wool in several cols.[centres], one joining col.
4mm hook
US Terms, Uk Terms in brackets
First colour, 1finger wrap of 5 wraps or ch4, sl st, into a circle.
Round 1: Basically a first round granny square but with 4dc [4tr], on each side, instead of 3dc [3tr], in first colour.....
ch2 counts as first dc [tr], 3dc [3tr], ch3, 4dc,[4tr], ch3, repeat until you have 4 sides, 4 corners, sl st, to complete round. (16dc [16tr])
Round 2: Att. new colour, in any ch3, sp, ch5, 2tr [2dtr], in same sp, ch5, sc, [dc], into same sp, sc,[dc], in next 3sps, sc, [dc], into next ch3 sp, repeat for each side, sl st to complete.
Join as you go
between the 3rd and 4th ch st, and 2nd and 3rd ch st, each side of centre
tr [dtr], using a slip st, into first motif

PARTY TIME!!!......WHEY HEY
Yesterdays Congleton trip..south Cheshire has some dire road signs took us an hour to find the place does help though if the post code was correct...mmmmm
We went for coffee well chocolate fix really then shops but we've done all our christmas shopping so decided to do the cinema...4 CHRISTMASES...some bits are hilarious but 6 out of 10 maybe
Then PIZZA HUT for late lunch love pizza but dont like their prices and the place was PACKED.....what does that say about the credit crunch!!!
Then the loan MX5 decided to loose a cylinder very careless l think.....and behave like an old nail and backfired all the way back to the garage!!! mmmmmm
Well ouch and just before Christmas!!!.....seems MX5's have a tendany to corrosive break pipes and mine needed replacing plus a big sevice...meaning expensive
So back it has to go for another days work gggggggrrrrrrrrrrr
Funny how a car can work perfectly well and still be in need of seemingly drastic work!!! Suppose thats why they are serviced to make sure you dont beakdown when it sooooooooo not convenient lol
