Flower Power and more

Cardboard Flowers
Have l had some fun with paper the last couple of days...cutting and snipping and generally making a mess lol
Lots of paper and card in my stash that l needed to use up, so lots of paper and card flowers are appearing every where
Give me a bit of paper and a pair of scissors and l can be kept happy for hours lol

Don't you just love the Internet?
But on my Google travels l've found some terrific ways of making all sorts of yummy flowers....so if you're a flower lover keep ya eyes peeled
lots to come from card and tissue paper to ribbon and yarns string and raffia

Simple Tissue Paper flower
concertina folding with a scrunched up tissue paper ball for the centre
very basic and so easy to make and would look great for parties and weddings fast to make so lots could be made quickly in all sizes for gift boxes to huge hanging pomades
Rainbow Stars
Made a few rainbow stars in tissue paper too...very delicate and fiddly (ripped a couple very easily) but work as a window decoration beautifully
great tutorial here..Waldorf tissue stars
Think l saw them here first...Andamento that made me go looking for more
How about some tea towel cushions?...to go with the crochet cushions for the craft room sofa...l do need to recover them (some one black and furry is to blame here) but still love the orange so much...and the sofa although it's been ripped to shreds is still one of the most comfy sofas l've ever sat on....combined with the sun's glue l lay on it yesterday just watching the mobile swivel and move in the air...very mesmerizing and it was such a beautiful day too
First card and paper flowers that started the paper flower making off again
basically simple layered circles
going to try a different way of putting the same flower together today..to make the cutting slightly quicker to do...
How much fun can you have with a bit of paper and a pair of scissors?....
oooh! LOTS lol

Have a super Saturday everyone
Hugs xx
